arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh F**King DIV Tags they are a bitch!…
In our second workshop of using Dreamweaver we learnt how to give our web page a bit of structure using DIV Tags. DIV Tags separate divisions or areas of your page to make it look better more like a real web page.
In the class I got it I made a neat little index page using DIV Tags to make it all nice following instructions but when I tried it at home I forgot to bring my page I had created in class home to work from that, well now I had totally forgot how to do DIV Tags I remembered what button I had to press to create one but had forgotten sizes and names and basically all I needed to do I spent a whole day sitting at my computer fiddling on Dreamweaver and I actually got a page made it looked good then I previewed it in the web browser and blurrrr the LeftNav and RightNav DIV Tags just fell straight out of the main area and would not move no matter how many times I changed the sizes it would look good but when I previewed it in a web browser it wouldn’t work, I got nothing done apart from being pissed off so that was the day I hated Dreamweaver and DIV Tags as nothing would work!
But never fear children… he does get it done in the end… After going to Uni and collecting his original Div Tag Index page and take it home on USB.
